Let's just get this established off the bat. For everyone who drifts through this thread, if you don't have something constructive to add or a question to ask then don't post. If you are really bothered by what I write on this thread, then feel free to not read it.

Sarcasm and snarky comments don't add anything valuable to the conversation and are frankly poisonous to threads.

Thanks.

I have only one thing constructive to add to the journal, (because it is obvious yer' all options and stuff, (which scares the hell out of me and so I know nothing)), is if you wish to repel them for hacking on you, post some RM journal pics. They'll shut up right quick. Like Billy the Kid did...

Be the Kid...

I appreciate the comment.

I am definitely not all options. Probably more like a 1/3 - 1/2 options.

I am not sure what RM journal is but I am interested. Although I am interested in the sense that I have not been able to find the equivalent of myfxbook for a standard brokerage account (and I am assuming this RM journal is along those lines).

Although, I am not interested in reaching some certain degree of proof. What you see is what you get, and I know I already post plenty that is scrutizable. The journal is first and foremost for me, and this is the degree of journaling I am happy with.

This is a journal, not a paid subscription to a trading room. If someone doesn't want to read my journal, or like what I write, or feel that it is doesn't contain a certain degree of proof then I hope they have enough smarts to choose to not to read it.

I'll state it again , If anyone doesn't want to read my journal, for the love, please don't read my journal (I don't need you to read it, trust me)

On the flipside, if you get something out of it, by all means read it. If you want to write a civil comment or ask a non sarcastic question please do.

Sorry, I was a bit loose on the acronym there. RM = Real Money.

No, but I am confused. There are about half a dozen screenshots in my journal already, from my brokerage trading platform. Everything but net liq is visible, and if someone spent a minute or two they could probably figure out my net liq as well.

That would be a real money pic, no? So when you say real money, I am thinking you mean something else.

I looked back, and yes, I remember those pics. I never looked at them closely, but now see that they have P/L figures in them, at the tippy-top of the screen. I see 5 pics.

Is that real money? Prove it. Without proof, everyone here will have to take your statements on faith, and that doesn't cut it here anymore, if it ever did.

If you can prove it with real money statements <---(key word there), then maybe they will not be so poo-poo on your methods. That is what I am getting at.

The tippy top of the screen is where my broker decided to put the account info.

My broker (TastyWorks) doesn't offer paper accounts. That means this is either a real account or I am spending a lot of time in Photoshop with an extremely elaborate (and pretty lame) hoax.

Geez, I did not know TastyWorks does not offer demo/sim accounts. I apologize for a part of my response then. But, you forgot a key word there..."statement(s)".

:-)

Yes, not to thrilled about that. I am already posting my P&L for my account as well as for every individual leg of every trade, so I don't have any apprehension to posting a statement since im already showing it all anyways.

This isn't a thread to show how awesome of a trader I am, in case anyone has that idea. It's to scrutinize my trading strategies, good, bad or indifferent. I could very well underperform the market, who knows, but that is what the journal is for. Obviously my goal is to overperform it, but regardless of what happens I will have a running journal to scrutinize, and as a freeb it's public.
