Quote from LongShot:
"However, there are some types of fat, particularly fats from red meat and dairy fat and trans fat from hydrogenated vegetable oils, that we do want to avoid."
He goes on to say:
"However, I think there is also strong evidence that high intakes of animal fat can be harmful and that replacing these with unsaturated fats would surely be beneficial."
Do *I* have to say more?

yes you do, although 90% of what you say is crap anyway.....BTW....its always been the press and these anti-atkins doctors who have labeled his diet as "the high fat" diet....Atkins himself always referred to it as Low carb high protein.....for the last time ,...You CAN have a low carb, high protein diet that is LOW fat.....ie, chicken and fish ....but for some reason you are obsessed with fat.
Quote from LongShot:
No, you can't have a high protein/very low fat diet.. no way no how. Isn't possible ..defies fact. Furthermore, are you aware of the physiological consequences of a high protein diet. No, I doubt you know a thing about it.
Lastly, a low carb diet restricts complex carbs ie. fruits/veggies in their natural form. Why would you want to replace these with high protein/high fat products? Doesn't make good physiological sense.
