Trading while trying to lose weight on Atkins

hmm where's a good place to buy a bike? walmart? sports authority? or a specialty bike shop? a decent 10speed should be good..

I just bought a cheap WalMart bike. Cost about $100. I think it has only about 5 speeds, but I didn't care about multiple speeds since I never change gears. After all, the point is exercise, not easy riding. Plus you don't want something that somebody is going to want to steal. So don't get anything with flames or whatever.

As for drivers, I stopped riding with traffic long ago due to cell phones. Now I ride against traffic, and if somebody isn't paying attention to the road, I have plenty of warning.

Exercise must be structured with precise measurement of progress to be effective. eom.

Atkins diet can be deadly?

Notice that the article merely stated the tired old party line
without providing ANY research.

"But she does not include a warning about the possible risk of kidney or liver disease for anyone who spends a long time on the diet, possibly because of lack of reliable research to back such claims. "

LACK OF RELIABLE RESEARCH. Uh huh. Ding ding ding...

Also... as dbphoenix mentioned, all the attacks on the
Atkins diet are STRAWMAN fallacies.
The Atkins diet doesn't tell people to stay on the induction
phase forever.

I'm not a big proponent of the Atkins diet, since it seems
a bit extreme, and other diets may do the same in a
less body shocking way.

But I find it funny how the establishment constantly attacks
it without ANY research to back their position.

Might be useful to read this thread, take in all the links, before you start drawing firm conclusions.

I have.
What part do you disagree with?

Atkins is too high in fat and too low in veggies/fruits. There is a definite correlation between fat intake and heart disease, for one example.

Check out Dean Ornish, M.D.

Speaking of reading the thread . . . Do we really need to start over just for LongShot?
