I think the 10 to 5 is heavily dependent on getting there by working out the muscle mass on a daily basis, the other is heavily concerned with changing life long eating habits.

first of all, this is nitpicking. does it really matter if the guy is 3.7% or 4.8%?! the point is, he's in great shape. if he is how he wants to be and he's healthy, does it really matter what his exact body fat % is? i don't think that number is far off, anyway.

I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A HUGE POINT THAT MAYBE PEOPLE OVERLOOK: as your lean body mass increases, it becomes easier to have a lower body fat %. 3.7% may seem low, BUT HE'S ADDED A LOT OF MUSCLE, SO WITH 3.7% OF HIS TOTAL WEIGHT, IT'S NOT LIKE HE HAS ONLY .5 POUNDS OF FAT.

example......

say you weigh 100 pounds and you have 10 lb of fat. your body fat % is 10 %.

NOW, if you add 30 lb of muscle AND STILL HAVE EXACTLY 10 LB OF FAT, YOUR BODY FAT IS ONLY 7.6% NOW ALTHOUGH YOUR POUNDS OF FAT REMAINED EXACTLY THE SAME!!!! this is how bodybuilders can have what SEEMS like extremely low body fat %.

Your blood that carries your nutrients...is 82% water

And the lungs that provide your oxygen is near an astounding 90% water.

These are basic facts of biochemistry....for you grad students quoting studies here in this thread.

Here lets try this....here is a quiz.

I am going to leave out how much water is in fat and in muscle....but here is your quiz...

When loosing "weight" how much of the loss is related to water?

Were ALL hairy bags of water......

so if you get to 5% body fat you can ignore good eating habits for life?! what a joke! i will maintain good eating habits til i die. if i didn't, i'd just get out of shape again.
