Rydex funds are not "closed end" funds. They are open end funds which trade at the end of the day... However, Rydex does have some "Dynamic" group funds which also trade at 10:45 EST.

Uras (RYURX) 1-1 inverse to the S&P

Tempest (RYTPX) 2-1 inverse to the S&P

Arktos (RYAIX) 1-1 inverse to the NASDAQ 100

Venture (RYVNX) 2-2 inverst to the NASDAQ 100

I use them a lot for our our qualified money.

Also if you make your exchanges on line you can get a later cutoff time before the close.
