Trading US Options in UK

No it doesn't, you can trade options all day every day in the UK on many different exchanges, domestic or foreign.

You might not think IB is the best broker, but it is for options trading. Hard to name another broker available to UK clients that has the same markets they offer at the same commissions.
 
OptionsHouse accept UK accounts.

I trade FX ETF options on the CBOE through them to hedge my currency risks.

Their platform is solid and cost structure is reasonable.

Pardon me for resurrecting a 6 month old thread, but I wanted to ask about OptionsHouse and UK accounts.

I checked OptionsHouse, as well as speaking with their live chat representative, and I was told UK accounts are not accepted. After reading the FAQ, I believe only US citizens that reside in the UK are allowed to sign up from the UK.

So I was wondering if you or anyone from the UK is using OptionsHouse, because I've come across some people who insist you can open an account with OH from the UK.

OptionsHouse have been bought by E*Trade and much has changed in the last few months. Only US citizens or resident aliens may now hold accounts with them.
