I mean CLOSED; like 3am on a Sunday morning closed; between after-market and pre-market.

What if I come home after a hard night of drinking and want to buy a few thousand shares of something?

As retail your broker may have access to the night desk of some of the dealers who run 24/7. Institutional will have access via bank desks. In either case, it's expensive and markets are poor. Stuff with a high correlation to an index will generally be less awful.

Best to wait 24 hours so your head can clear, so you don't make a bad trading decision when sloshed.

If you want to do it through Robinhood, you have to wait for 930am when they can hold your hand.

Otherwise you could trade threw IB @ 4am with the grown ups. hell you could even trade in foreign markets anytime.<g>

I used to trade with a group and a couple of the guys would go to the bar next store and throw back a few and come back and trade. It got messy.
