Trading today's jobs report... Your ideas?

How are you going to trade today?

I'm buying long bias ETFs TNA FAS starting premkt if price action goes up in SPY, or inverses TZA FAZ TVIX if bearish selling price action.

Will scale intraday.

Would have been more interesting going into this jobs number with futures unchanged. But like I said these numbers don't make a difference, wallstreet will rally no matter what the numbers are, and if markets close lower for some odd reason today, next week they will rally and erase any losses incurred today
 
my main focus will be on
NQ ES & gold

perhaps I might trade
bonds like buxl, UB, & copper

jpy aud eur gbp? I will consider it when there is nothing else to trade.

Markets already “price it out”.
 
News is useless. By the time it gets out, all the Wall Street Sharks (hedge funds, mutual funds, brokers, banks) have already taken their positions so, what good is it? The same goes for CNBC, Bloomberg and most especially, the ET trolls who are good for a laugh and entertainment but, nothing else. We have stockcharts which represent the actual buying and selling taking place in each stock. That is more relevant and important. I position my trades based on what I see in the stockcharts. There is never a shortage of trading opportunities out there if you look for it and take it when it presents itself.

Did not know PTLA was being bought out but, used leftover monies in one of my accounts because of the stockchart and guess what? It popped and gapped up one day after it was announced that it would get bought out at $18.00. Still made 79% on that trade. Would the news have given you PTLA to trade? Nah.

With the FED providing unreal backstops mkt is on a ventilator to bet on inverse especially TVIX.
Past two attempts to go long on TVIX didn't work well in my favor. With the exception of sdow none of the inverses work for me. For some reason udow sdow combo has been working very well. Past 2 months TQQQ, SPXL,UDOW,SPY have been star performers. You seem to have found a niche with inverse. You shd write an article abt ur entry logic.

Flat market so far. Scaled a bit into TNA SPXL FAS long gap breakouts with lod stops set

Also set bounce long trades at hod breakouts TZA FAZ in case they run up midday.

I trade SDOW too, thx re heads up on UDOW I've never traded that. Will re-enter TVIX in low 180s if it bounces.

Moving forward I'm going to force myself to always trade pairs with scaling vs being mr bear only. So if I get a fill in TZA I'm putting a buy stop order .50 or so above high in TNA for example. Then gradually scale into the winner.

Have positions on INO, CODX, LVS, XOM, NAT, NVAX. Got stopped out on VXRT for 13% gain. Lots more stocks to trade out there. Did not get into MRNA a 2nd time as the options premiums was too rich for me. MRNA doing quite well. INO, NVAX on my 2nd trade on these stocks. Looking into other stocks too.
