Trading times for Monday trough Friday

Those of you who are holding overnight and used 15:10est trading time, made a bundle.

this morning 10:40 signal had completed cci divergence at 10:50, it was correct call, however drop was only short lived,
You could have exited on next trading time 11:15est. There was a perfect cci divergence right there. So so far we have 2 correct trading times today.
After completing this week doing Nasdaq100, I was asked to do S&P 500 so that is what I will do next week.

Could you post a chart of the 10:50a CCI divergence completion ? I want to see if we're seeing the same thing.
Thanks.

5 min charts, Nasdaq100, 8 period CCI

10:30est High 1128.61 CCI 95.67

10:50est High 1132.65 CCI 82.26

Divergence can be seen better on 2 min or 3 min charts but for this demonstration I am using only 1 and 5 min charts to keep it simple and easy to follow.

Trading time 14:25est was correct call, CCI divergence started 14:15 and was completed by 14:30est.
Today we had 3 correct trading times.
Still waiting for a wrong call . ( not really )

Walther - looking at the trading times, where was the opportunity at 10:40 and 11:15? I am looking at the charts, and don't see how those times offered anything significant. Could you post a chart showing the trades made off of your times?

14:25 looks like it was around a short term bottom, good for a .10-.20 scalp. But again, I don't understand what happened at 10:40 and 11:15 for you to claim three correct signals.

Thanks for the clarification.

Certainly won't quibble with the 14.25-- the was "the" turn given that most of the day was, again, spent in churn. However, the 10.40 time was a dud, IMO, as it was truly minor and in the middle of a run. The 11.15 got a turn, but again, it was in the midst of a wiggle that wasn't resolved (in a minor way) til 11:54, or with emphasis at 14.25.

Please don't take this as negative criticism. A good cycle system will have a few duds now and again, but is most effective when you aren't whipped in and out of a position during churns. Not knowing your methodology, it's difficult to suggest anything. But I will say that most cycle timers rely on a confluence of hits (ie, hits from higher time frames) to indicate "better" times (ie, major vs. minor or insignificant).

Again, good work and thanks for sharing. Ana Maria
