trading thru IB using Medved QT

Click on Options, then Data sources tab, then indices then select quote.com and check off what you want.

Sierra is very good and you place your orders via the TWS: don't you have to keep it running even when trading with QT?

Thanks for the tip. My data provider is IB. I tried selecting Quote.com but it appears I need a paid subscription for real-time data. Also when I changed the data source, my IB quotes stopped (on QT). It would be nice if I could get all of them working at the same time. According to Jerry Medved in an earlier post, I should be able to get indices without losing my futures data.
 
Ram, if you do not see a white strip with indices on it (or gray if you don't have any symbols selected) you should have an Indices tab on the top right below the menu. Click on it to open the index panel. Once you have done so, right click on it and select Edit Indices.
