Trading the SLA/AMT Intraday

Those of you who are inspired to do some testing should remember that you can't short if you're long. Therefore, if you thought that a short op was presenting itself at any point, you wouldn't be able to take advantage of it unless and until you left whatever long you may have been in.
So.
You have to have entry, exit, and re-entry strategies for both sides. And you have to determine which, if either, is actually worth taking. If, for example, you determine that the best trades are at the extremes, then you're going to have a lot of waiting to do. But the rewards of taking those trades may be worth the wait. Which is where we get into the relative merits of scalping vs trend-trading.
As for those who see this later, all you have to do is bring up a chart and match it with the timestamps in order to understand what's going on. Or was.

Out of curiosity, wouldn't this kind of interaction be easier to manage in a more interactive "chat" of some sort? (Hangouts for example, integrates images and multi-party conversations.) For that matter, I'm surprised that ET doesn't offer that (anymore).
The only reason I can think of is to log the exchange in here, but I wonder how many people might benefit from reading the details of the action as it unfolded, after the fact.

For me, no. And there's no need for charts if everybody is here. In chat, 80% of the people who are there aren't "there".
If they follow the time-stamped posts as they review the chart, there should be no difficulty. But it beats the hell out of making one's way through a chat log.
Okay, so the late afternoon rallies have infected even the docile Fridays. Of all those levels, the market chose 48 as the launching pad, after testing the mean of pre-market a few times. The double top sell off was absorbed by eager buyers, overwhelming supply at bars 17, and 18. The aggressive sellers on bar 19, were again, overcome and trapped by more buyers, and that's when the sellers packed their bags, and went away for the weekend.
