Trading the Pivots

Quote from Charly:

what are the indicators below the chart -

Charly

Top pane is "price" and "LR channel"

Second Pane is my intra-bar "market delta"

Third Pane is my Ergodic (True Strength Index)

Bottom of chart is just time of day at certain points on a 317 ES tick chart.

Over at the original thread Simple Profitable Method they are making a lot of headway with how to use these charts.

I highly recommend to you (if you don't already have a method to trigger market entry) to go on over there and peruse it, study the comments and examples and apply the knowledge and information being freely given.

By combining a strategy (always trading with the dominant trend) with tactics (as exemplified over at the Simple Profitable Method) you will be going a long way towards having a sound trading base for ... days-weeks-months-years.

Which will get better (and your account will grow) as you apply your self to it.

Best,

JJ

Quote from nkhoi:

shorting at strong uptrend is tough job, you constantly looking for clue that it is not going to work

that true.

i usually break the tradeing day down into morning and afternoon sessions.

anywhere from 3 to 4 days a week those paradigms will hold true for the day's action.

we've had the morning move.

the afternoon session usually starts anywhere from 1:30 to 2:15ish or so. after 2:30pm i don't really like to enter a position, i will, but i don't like to, because the move needs time to play itself out.

best,

jj

edit: those are ET time zones

OK, the NQ is showing weakness, lunch hour is just about over and i'm looking to short any mintue now.

i'll be using a modified money management system that i picked up over at austin p bash thread.

the fact of the matter is that Elite Trader is a gold mine, no, a diamond mine of inforamtion.

if you can just sift through the dirt, i promise you'll find'em. (most of my proprietary methodology is based on info i got from here, except one piece i found by luck on goggle ...).

best,

jj

Took an esy 2 points on a JJ buy signal at 1319.00.

This is JJ's original entry method which works really well.

I bailed at 2 points as the R2 is 1322.
