Trading the ES live-the Brooks way

How bad would it be if English was your second language and you were studying Brooks
you would be surprised how many Indians speak English.

i was again reading Brooks books and i found that he is extremely short term which is terrible for novices.
novices should scalp only in nightmares and if you read Brooks you will think scalping is the norm and it is not.
only 2 percent of the profitable traders are scalpers

focus on scalping is one of the main reasons for my losses in the last twenty years and it is due mainly to brooks.

i suggest that most traders stay a few light years away from being tempted to scalp.

For sure I don't dispute that I'm wasting my time in one sense, but I have in some ways an axe to grind when I see certain behaviors and attitudes. Part of it is me arguing with a much younger me perhaps...
anybody who posts so much on ET is a not a trader

PUTTING SOMEONE down DOES NOT MAKE YOU GREAT
Agree.

Your posts are verbose, expressive and fun to read.

Brooks is right.

If you limit your one big loss out of twenty small wins, like @volpri taught us, you should be doing very well.
