Trading the CL with Trading Price Action On Futures

Today:

We had news, before the news nothing going on, so had to wait for the news.
After the news again no clear direction, market was ranging.
Only one setup testing the highs.

Trade setup:
Entry@58.64
Stop@58.53
Target@58.79, 59.04
Outcome: +55 ticks

Had some luck today with the second target. Price was hit to the tick and got a fill.

If you get in line early, you will be surprised by how often you get "lucky." Every trade has a buyer and a seller - every single tick has a buyer and a seller. Someone gets to sell the offer and there is no reason it can't be you.

Hi,

Only one setup for today. Market was slow again and there where only 2 good setups for today.
The setup that I took today was a counter trend trade, it was the first opportunity for today.
After that setup the only good area to enter into today trend was at the 59.80 area but there was no valid setup on my trading chart so no entry for me.

Trade 1:
Entry short@ 59.50
Stop loss@ 59.62
Target 1+2@ 59.35
Outcome: +30 ticks

That is exactly what I did here. Look at a higher time frame and you will see the support level and the break of it with the retest.
