Didn't watch any of the old crime dramas, I guess. Making the bad guy nervous enough to run back and make sure all of the evidence was gone is an old, old trap...
That was good detective work, folks. Joe Friday would be proud of ya.
I didn't see any signs from raVar of a con job, he was blunt but he warned on that.
I'd prefer to see someone on ET talk technical aspects of trading from pulpit of experience even if it's controversial rather than limp wristed 'yes mama no mama' waffle.
If he's got a thick skin hopefully he'll be back to give ya's another serve.

I think destriero's outed all the ones that knee-jerk about simple bluntness and controversy. If they're stupid enough to freak out about that regardless of the actual value of what's being discussed, let'em die on that hill. It's not my kind of battle, but I'll admit to some guilty vicarious pleasure when watching him slaughter them.
But that actual value is what it's all about here. If raVar's got any to bring - maybe with some actual execution to back it up - then his bluntness, or an absence of it, would be immaterial. If he doesn't have any, then that ostensible "bluntness" is nothing more than a childish tantrum.

For a while, I did train traders. Along the lines of what Macrohedged is now doing. In some ways, I view guys like Macro-hedged (think that is his moniker, who has proved himself a professional so many ways, its insane as he's in a place he can trade OPM, as well as bust "FURU'S" ) ... or John Grady, or any of the other real ones, as taking up my baton. I don't have to do it any longer, as they are. I really like Macrohedged as well, as he's more blunt than I am.
No, I didn't delete my videos. They were taken private. Like ... years ago.
I was so recognized as the real deal, since we were demonstrating running a real Prop account, of Closed Partners, publicly? And demonstrate all of the dollar amounts? And said that's what we were doing, as we did it, to help new traders. That another Professional Trader grabbed me, and we started a NEW closed Prop account among private Partners, and are going to be rolling out a Registered Firm in the future. So we closed up that venue, as I didn't want to be near that biz, when I turn to the Institutional side.
See, that's what happens, when you focus on actually Trading, and what can assist you trading, and trading principles ... rather than who said what to who. LOL. You attract, what you are.

So no, I'm not selling anything. My clout in the Institutional side of anything? Why would I use that, because how does that prove or disprove any logical point? Do you know how many numnuts there in Institutional quarters that wouldn't know their butt from a hole in the ground? It should be about Trading Principals. Unless ... of course ... it's more about social drama, than I don't know ... trading?
I'm glad to be away from it, since it's generally filled with numnuts who do crap like the above, rather than focus on principles ... and gee ... I don't know ... trading?
