Acrary posted a divergence system on here that I was able to adapt and trade successfully for a few years. Mark Johnson (not sure if he posted here though) made some very useful contributions to my trend following systems. NoDoji's method of going through a chart by hand and logging the results also produces tradeable results. I also traded the Aberration system successfully for 6 years.
So 3 successful methods from the internet and one from a vendor after 16 years of trading (and none from books). However I have never traded somebody else's ideas without thoroughly backtesting them first. No shortcuts.

Acrary doesn't sound like talking with human language, how to trade if almost no one can understand what he talked about.
