Trading software that did not crush this month

bad bad bad here! sterling isnt working and i am using other providers to find quotes and send orders via sterling!
any feedback from other platform users?
 
Lightspeed has been working great. Quotes have been way faster than my iqfeed. Its important that I always have at least two feeds to identify potential problems.
 
My son has an account at Charles Schwab and is currently using the streetsmart pro platform. Has anyone heard if they shutting it down completely? A few friends of mine were told they were about 6 months ago and we are not sure if we need to start looking for a new brokerage firm. He currenty invests in stocks and some basic covered calls.
