Trading shareholder voting rights

I recently discovered that you can actually trade shareholder voting rights separately from your shares. I looked into it a little bit and found a site called Shareholder Vote Exchange.

I rarely use my votes so I'm inclined to monetize them. No point in just throwing them away I guess. Does anyone else have experience with this?

I actually sold my votes for Eagle Materials ($EXP) which closed yesterday. Had about $6K of stock and made $40 on those votes, which comes out to about 0.6%. Not a ton, but better than nothing.

My withdrawal is currently processing now, but the team there is pretty responsive. Even did a Zoom call with them.
