Always a useful metric, in my opinion.

however the bearish sentiment indicator has been a completely useless metric during the last 4 months at minimum.Its a great indicator in a channeling market but for routs it aint.I guess it worked today though.

Depends on how you use it, and interpret it with other technical tools.
It worked just FINE for me today . . .
