Well aware that browser can perform things too, e.g. TradingView, CQG mobile, TT stuff. Aside from the TOS compatibility, what properly compiled tools work natively please? I heard some were mentioned on this site, but couldn't find those old threads. I am OS agnostic, just wanted to get an answer to my question. I guess, I will wait for a new thread, too much of holy warfare in this one

Well, there's a lot...really too many to list. Do you have a specific need? One very popular tool I'll offer as an example is gretl another is MATLAB. I do most of my plotting/charting with R and I'm very happy with that. I can also recommend pyplot.

You can always ask the vendor. Does it have to be compiled? Many things these days are interpreted and, if you're not working on proprietary HFT sorts of things, interpreted software can be run in production without a great performance concern.

I won't deny that the "paradox of plenty" may apply here. So it can be a challenge to balance capricious excursions with the focused, specific and deliberate. Be careful not to chase your tail.

Yeah, there's 15 gazillion of these things... here's yet another one. I'm more of a back-end processing type of person and not a big "trade from charts" person but these days anything worth it's salt is cross-platform.
