And that is useful to average users exactly how?
It's not. It only useful as humor to advanced users of Linux. If you're just an average user and are happy with Windows, just stick with that.

That's not a bad idea, but wouldn't you be running Windows and Linux at the same time? That will eat up resources and slow your computer down. I'd rather be running 1 thing at a time, and I like the idea of having a choice when I start the computer to either run linux or windows.
And yes I am a windows hater and I'll tell you why. It is managed by bill gates, who likes to install all these unnessacery programs that he thinks is important. And these programs connect to the internet and are constantly downloading and updating and slowing your internet connnection and eating up memory. And you can't delete them either. It's like driving a Farrari and having the e-brake on.
I am even going to try to install Wine program on Linux. Wine will let you run windows applications on Linux, but they don't always work.

Am I missing anything by not having Linux?

Dear me, and this is the guy that sports cryptos on the forum. Everything makes sense.
Security. Even Microsoft recommends users of Windows 11 to install a virus scanner. Same state we were in back in 1995. They are basically admitting that their operating system is so vulnerable, that you need 3rd party software that continuously eats up resources, running in the background to find all the crap that might be happening on your system. That's pathetic.
Yes that's right, and I stand behind what I said 100%.
I personally don't like bill gates. You odviously do and think everyone should too. Just like you think running two systems at the same time is a good idea, while I think it is a horrible idea. Same way I think crypto is a good idea, and you think bad idea.
Honestly who gives a shit what others think? I'm not your daddy, go believe whatever you want.
You have no clue about professional usage of a system. And how is this useful to let all your other cpu threads sit idle and consume about a similar amount of energy?
