One tick above the HOD? If I may ask why a single tick? That's considerably optimistic isn't it; why not a tick below? If you miss and you probably will you'll give up many ticks before you realize it.

Wasn't trying to target exactly one tick above the high, just a general area i was shooting for. There are several possibilities that can unfold as price moves, my job is to position myself to prepare for those moves. I trail a stop based on what the price just did.
