Don't feel too bad, I did a similar thing. I thought it was headed to the moon!
I was in the flow of things and that trade threw me off a bit. But if we don't exam and extract information from our trades we will never understand what we are doing wrong.
On a side note, around 7:55 pst I saw a big player on the DOM flashing 300-700 on the bid and quickly canceling it.. seemed like he was trying to trick the buy programs to kick into gear
Just did some sim on ES today. Think I will stay with NQ for the time being.
I reaffirmed my belief that sometimes ES leads and sometimes NQ leads. Nothing I see to hang my hat on. Busy day at work also. Back to usual tomorrow.
Not as many algo bots to fight on the NQ as compared to the ES.
+5 today, light trading for me so far this week, 3 trades today and 2 yesterday. Nice volatility yesterday but I was lacking focus and energy. Today of course I'm more focused but the market trades in a narrow range lol. Rightly so, because we rallied 40 pts yesterday from midday lows so today price consolidates before the next breakout. Rinse, repeat.
