Hell~
I want to say something about the proverbial "hell" because it's been brought up here a couple times and because i've been warned about it in the traditional way that people have been warning other people about it; 'Watch out!'...whatever it takes to monger fear and worry for whatever reasons they think are valid (behavioral modification?)
But while people are watching out for a future hell they are distracted from the task at hand, to...:
...escape from the hell we've already made!
I mean, what do they think this is, "middle earth" like in the Lord of the Rings? There really is no middle ground between Reality and imagination. There's no neutrality. It's a for-me-or-against-me relationship.
So im going to explain why IMAGINATION is actually "HELL".
First of all, there is Reality. And in reality, Reality is all there is. It has no competition. It has a monopoly. There isn't anything else! So, it is Everything. And it just so happens that there isn't anything better than this Everything! So it's a very happy situation to Be in.
But along comes what i'll call a "concept", which is basically an impossibility, but nevertheless, fun to consider, at least temporarily. A "joke" would qualify as a concept. A "joke" is actually a lie, but one that's obvious and silly. If the joke is not obvious, then we call it a "lie".
So there's this joke: "Can there be MORE than Everything?". It should be obvious that this is an impossibility - a concept - to be laughed at. But there's this temptation to laugh, in order to ADD to the happiness of Everything!
Imagination is itself a joke, a device conceived to explore the possibility of the impossible. So imagination is ADDED to Reality in order to have MORE. Thus, imagination is an attempt to have BOTH. And here is where there is a temptation to have both what is GOOD and also what is NOT GOOD.
GOOD is a kind of perfection. It just doesn't get any better. And, if you try to ADD anything to it, the net effect is to RUIN it. But, how would you know that? Imagination is the realm of the UNKNOWN. And if you have not ever ADDED to Reality before, how would you KNOW you would ruin it if you did? So there is this temptation.
So what happens, in the interest of having MORE-than-EVERYTHING, we end up with the EXPERIENCE of LESS, by combining BOTH everything AND nothing. Are you following me here?
Nothing is MORE than Everything. So when you combine them together in an effort to have BOTH, you get LESS. And this is the genesis of the concept of LOSS.
Imagination sets us on a downward spiral because it starts at a situation where it doesn't get any better, and tries to add to it. The only way it can add is to have situations that are NOT better, but are WORSE.
The first thing imagination must add to Reality are differences. This is because in Reality, there is only Equality. More than Equality requires differences, which is the genesis of inequality/hierarchy. Separation is an aspect/effect of differences/inequality. If you don't want to be the Same, then you must be separate/different. And so, imagination gives us the experience of being SPECIAL, because we are all DIFFERENT!
Being SPECIAL is a prime motivation for using imagination to ADD to the Equality of Reality. Being special offers us an EXPERIENCE that is IMPOSSIBLE within the experience of Reality. These extra experiences are all ADDED to the experience of Reality. So, being special is a temptation. It is such a temptation, it's a "devil" (difficult) to overcome.
"The devil" is simply THAT WHICH IS DIFFICULT TO OVERCOME!
Imagination is difficult to overcome, once you've succumbed to it's temptations. It is the proverbial rock that the gods made, that they found too difficult to lift, or to roll away.
Imagination adds ANOTHER SELF to the Self that is Reality. So it adds an actor, a fake, a poser, a pretender, a mask, an imposter, or a counterfeit. It adds all these and MORE! Imagination adds a whole other "world" to the World that is Reality. And so, imagination is the genesis of "the new world order". This other, "new world", is actually another *self*. It is is *one other self* which comprises all other *selves* (plural). This other self is actually a kind of anti-Self, or *alter-ego*. If Reality is "One" (because it all the Same) then imagination must be MANY. And this is accomplished thought the concept of DIFFERENCES.
Imagination is, in every way, UNLIKE Reality. However, that does not stop imagination from postulating it's own substitutes for Reality! This is the "good" side of the "good and evil" coin. Unfortunately, the entire coin is a counterfeit!
The desire to be different from Reality leads to a "fall" from the Glory of Reality. This is because in order to ADD to the Glory of Reality, a mind must explore and include the concept of something less than glorious. Here the concept of HIGH versus LOW is included in order to have BOTH of EVERYTHING! From high to low, the mind get's itself into a "gutter". The only way to ADD TO THE HIGHEST is DOWNWARD. This give us "the good, the bad, AND the ugly" (just to make sure we've got everything).

Hell is a psychological STATE OF MIND. Ultimately, hell is a state of mind that you snap out of. Snap out of it! In other words, it's a STATE OF HYPNOSIS. It's like a SPELL cast over your mind. Messages from Reality are intended to BREAK or otherwise BANISH the SPELL. So all messages from Reality are PSYCHOLOGICAL. And this is because the only thing that's Real about imagination is the MIND that conjures it up! Thus, SALVATION is about saving your Mind from the ravages of a downward spiraling imagination. So it's about mental health. It's about saving our Self (it's Mind) from INSANITY.
Imagination comprises any and all NOTIONS. Notions are like opinions, preferences, whims, fantasies...concepts. All notions are laughable, because they are JOKES. It's only when such jokes are taken seriously that they become a *lie* that we mistake for "the truth". Notions, taken seriously, will eventually drive a mind INSANE. Then they become SERIOUSLY INSANE NOTIONS (acronym S.I.N.s)
SINs are seriously insane notions that imagination forges into SYMBOLS. The symbols represent the SINs of the imagination. Symbols and IMAGES are the same thing. The imagination is like an IMAGE MAKING FACTORY. It FABRICATES everything that is not true!. So it's basically a lie fabricating factory that we WORK in. Imagination, if it works hard enough, can come up with "DNA", which can be used to come up with ANOTHER SELF! If one of these selves is our neighbor, we call them a "human being". If they are from a distance, we call them "space aliens". But they all come from imagination, and together, they constitute an ANTI-SELF to the Self that is Reality.
So this has been a STORY about the GENESIS of HELL. This is how we got "here" ( a relatively unknowable concept). Here, i am FREE. Yes, i am free to BELIEVE ANYTHING I WANT! Unfortunately, this translates into CAPTIVITY. Why? Because Reality WAS FREE, being FREEDOM itSelf. And what do you suppose you get when you ADD MORE to Freedom? You get the freedom to experience LESS than Freedom. This, then is the genesis of LIMITATIONS, and therefore PRISON. If Reality is Free, imagination must go in the other direction in order to be DIFFERENT. Thus, the temptation to be SPECIAL ends up making us all CAPTIVES of our own imagination!
This is how we have *wished* to be "here".
Because we are Free, it has always been a matter of AN EXPRESSION OF FREEDOM. Thus, "hell" is a perverse sort of FREEDOM. It's a "place" (another joke) where we DON'T KNOW WE ARE FREE BECAUSE WE ADDED IGNORANCE TO KNOWLEDGE IN ORDER TO HAVE MORE.
