Trading NQ Using PA Only

Some of the setups you're using look like, I repeat, look like what Al Brooks is doing on a 5 min chart trading the ES.
Can't recommend the book highly enough. Total revelation for me in PA. Lights came on, Angels sang, etc etc.

Here is the summary.

Total trades: 3

Profitable #: 2
Profitable Points: 9

Loser #: 1
Loss Points: 2

So far 7 points gains not including commissions. Will try one more time if the set-up occurs before 2.30 CST.

I will post the blotter later.
 
Attached is the execution report for today.

The two trades that are airbrushed were traded using a different set-up, so I did not include those to calculate the PnL.

I have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays so I may not be able to trade and post here at the same time and I usually do not visit ET if I am trading. The main reason being that there used to be time when I was ready to enter an order and someone on ET that I respected was doing the opposite, so I did not follow my strategy. I did not want to be influenced by other posters, so I stopped coming to ET and turned off CNBC during market hours.

My best days have been +25 points and worst days have been -4 points. I stop after 3 wins or 2 losses. On average I have -2 to +10 point days. In the last 3 months I made $15,000 trading 2-4 contracts and I did not even trade everyday.

If someone feels like taking charge and continuing this journal/set-up, be my guest.

There were 2 occurances yesterday. I was b/e and the other one was a loss for 2 points. It wasn't too bad considering it was a rough day for longs.....

Let's see what today brings.
