I understand most Brazilian Portuguese "dialects", but I must say that some of the dialects in Portugal are very difficult for me to grasp - like Porto and many rural dialects. In the south of Brazil it's more "chique" to have some kind of "dialect", while they mostly speak erroneously when you go up north... poor education and all that.
E.g "bora" is short for "vamos em bora"... and "eu vou arrumar um emprego" for "eu vou procurar/ganhar um emprego".
Those things are spread to all of Brazil because there are more "nordestinos" in São Paulo than up in the north east...
Which again explains skinheads hating nordestinos in the south...

yeah..... I think there should be recognized difference in the language between the two countries .
(However, who am I to criticize ... being Azorean ..... I too am laughed at from the people in Portugal!

You don't know what you're talking about. Try checking why Judo is incorporated in military combat. Then try to use logic & reasoning why it is very useful in the streets.
Stick to being a keyboard warrior, cause it's obvious you never trained anything in your life.
Wrestling does not even have throws, just slams and takedowns. Throws don't serve their purpose, nor are they allowed in the rules. That's why wrestlers get tossed around by Judo guys from the clinch, it's not expected by them.
I stand by what I said, which is confirmed by any real combat system. Judo throws & trips are best for the street, where CLOTHES & hard surface ground are present. Try doing shoots on concrete, especially knee glides, it's not fun. Try working a takedown when the guy is grabbing ur shirt and pulling it over your head. Try rolling on the ground with the guy to get top position while he is searching for an object to hit you over the head with.
The basic takedowns & slams are a part of all grappling arts, wrestlers simply focus on top position and takedowns more than others. They also focus on roids more than others, but that's another discussion.
