I went short yesterday on Nat Gas.

This is long term duration trade. Still short futures, bought calls on open as anticipated upmove is expected, hopefully be steep rally to sell more shorts and lift open position hedge.

your timeframe is too coarse.
so you ended up having a few very long candlesticks.
make it finer like the following chart.

BTW, not trading ng at this time but there's a nice engulfing at resistance up there on my chart to initiate the move. What's the problem with that?

That is a scary-looking chart, especially considering we are heading into cooler weather, and we still have the threat of hurricanes in the GOM until November.
