Trading Movies?

Quote from number22:

after watching Margin Call, I have to watch Trading Places again, see how trading have evolved, both are good movies.

if you want movie about sales, Glengarry Glen Ross is classic, I was working in sale before, I can relate to it.

Trading places has about the same to do with trading as Airplane had to do with flying an airplane.

Just watched Margin Call - It is free on Amazon with your Prime membership. Don't know why it's free, it's not an old movie, anybody got any ideas on that?

Anyway, Spacey was great. He made the movie. Four out of five stars.

Just watched 'Million Dollar Traders', it's very good but bear in mind that the traders have NO experience when they start.

Great to see how defferent people react to stress.

'Trader - The Documentary' - Paul Tuder Jones documentary, worth watching.

'Dealers' is good too, a little dated.

'Rounders' - one of my favourite films, even though I don't play poker.

'Margin Call' - very disappointing ending imo.

'Rogue Trader' - excellent entertainment but NOT the real story.

'Inside Job' - great documentary of the credit crisis.

'Matchstick Men' not really trading, but great film.

I will try & watch 'Boiler Room' and 'Quicksilver.

It is called Dealers.

I just watched that flick today. I found it pretty lame.

Capital City the TV series was based off it. The TV series is much better.

The amusing thing is they used the trading floor set from the movie in the TV series.

you'd think you'd be able to find some on youtube but it's all solicitation for the most part. especially "wall street warriors" and those type of shows.
