Duff, I generally agree with you, but also wouldn't mind it if Chartwiz and similar promoters were up here, as long as any promotion they do is limited to certain threads. (Chartwiz: Why don't you help us out in this regard and start a new thread that has more specific title tied to what you are up to. ET: Maybe we need a new section for discussing specific trading sites, in which promoters for those sites are welcomed.)
When it comes to trading strategies, it seems unrealistic to expect others to give away their best ideas for free. So every such post, whether commercial or not, is suspect in that regard, and I guess I would prefer seeing more posts than less. For other things, like broker and trading mechanics, the info up here is much more reliable (and should be).

HOW he could actually see the size of my home is beyond me & shows his lack of intelligence.....take a look at the pics, just a few pics of my dogs sitting......so you tell me how big my home is because from a pic of my dogs near a bed in a room doesn't show me anything...... I actually use that room for guests & was checking out my new camera , DON you really are a depressing person & it brings the quality of this site lower to new people when they come to see what its all about.......do something positive for once, give & show your worth & not knock everybody that contributes as a vendor or spam or hype.............relax.......I hope you enjoy your holidays........Hey Don....give us all a holiday present & take a vacation from abusing everybody that contributes good work, you actually prevent people from giving good work cause you take the wind out of the the sails of good threads...

I am not offended by anything you said in your post, we are all entitled to our views and to phrase them in the way we think makes the most impact. I agree completely with the fight fire with fire comment. That's what I think I have been doing.
The appartment comment may have been a cheap shot, but remember any vendor has the opportunity to avoid oblique references to their credibility by simple posting ongoing audited trading results as I suggested. That would shut me up in an instant.

I peaked in at the chat room. Out to the trades I saw and I took the results seemed to be mixed. Chartwiz did not lose much when he was wrong and he posted a few nice trades. I take a lot of trades and some of them I took based on my own entries. I feel I may have been slightly profitable on just his style but I can not say for sure. By the way the market was choppy and they said so.
I may turn out to be too cheap to pay for the room. But let me say this. I watched his style and read his materials (I was already familar with LBR type trades.) I have caught a few nice trades on my own using Chartwiz setups.

So the time Chris spent showing his style has been very good for me whether it makes me more succesful only time will tell. But the education was well worth the time I have put in. In the interest of fariness I should also say that I also looked at the service Van Tharp is setting up. Brad trades a similar style to chart wiz only he seems to take more trades. I have the same review of that service. And DR who is part of that service is a great guy.
