I believe I said on a previous thread I would do serious harm to myself IF I was either Samson77 or Steve46. Why?

Because they BOTH have a "story". In the intelligence world this is always part of the op. You need a story.

Samson is the "poor soul" who foolishly wasted $30,000 on various schemes and vendors UNTIL he found the miraculous "MENTOR" who saved him from impendind doom.

Steve46 is the "professional" with years of experience including managing a family fund who, even though he is a lowly engineer, mysteriously "knows" just about everyone and everything. He even knew facts about the legendary bond trader Tom Baldwin "no one else knew but wouldn't say" because he was a neighbor of his(Baldwin lives near Chicago and Steve lives near Santa Barbara). But when you are constructing a "story" the true facts are some how glossed over. His mentor apparently after traveling to Chicago "enlightened him to PIVOTS. This was of course when he was "much younger" but he forgets he posted only a year ago when he was 53 that pivots DON"T WORK." Again, don't let the facts get in the way of the "story."

Now we come to the part where the two of them are now overwhelmingly successful due to their "mentors." All of this is now in the past. Of course, the implied suggestion is if you read their thousands of well written posts you'll gleen that they are in possession of knowledge you too may acquire if they choose to "share" it with you. Now that's the mystery!

I say, where is THE PROOF that they are capable of anything other than mediocre performance? Samson77 has come to this forum many times after suffering devastating losses. He just couldn't help but divulge that info. Steve46 has lost on every trade he mentioned in "real time" even against so called "con men" so again WHERE IS THE PROOF?

Both try to divert your attention from this critical fact that they have absolutely not one shred of evidence to the contrary. Instead they engage in character assasination and bullying or name calling. I'm supposed to be Samson77 because I ask him direct questions and expect direct answers which NEVER COME.

Why am I so negative? What's wrong with being extremely skeptical? Do you really believe sucessful traders have nothing better to do than come to a website called Elite Trader where there doesn't appear to be many "elite" traders? People on this website comment all the time that there are few real traders here. This is not my conclusion.

Yet, many hope against all hope that manipulating an endless series of indicators or combining MA with CCI WITH pivots is THE answer. Don't give up hope! Each of these two has given up trying to trade the indexes. Samson gave up on the YM and Steve the ES. But make sure you give them your undivided support because their "mentors" have shared some secret knowledge with them they MAY impart to you. Why did they waste time on the YM and ES if their mentors told them what to do? Why did they fail?

So many questions for a person who can think and draw rational and reasonable conclusions. But don't let me spoil your illusion. After all isn't that why you're really here?

First off, we ALL have a story it's called life.

Secondly, I do not have to justify or prove ANYTHING to you or anyone else for that matter. If you ask nicely, I always answer but if you attack like a TROLL I will get just as aggresive right back.

Thirdly, Yes I did had a blog but I didn't continue with it because it was too combersome making entries in it, I started it as a way of SELF observation and record keeping for my own personal interests.

Finally, You seem to know a lot about me and steve46 ... don't you think that's wierd?

Why is it that you follow other posters so closely and monitor them consistantly? this is simply a trading forum merely designed for the sharing of ideals and some FUN.

Seriously, you need to chill out and get your own story / life.

btw, posting a persons name in ET is a violation of ET rules and you will be outta here soon enough.

Do you think I care if I get booted? Not one bit, you baby. Who do you call when your neighbor parks in your spot? You do own a car I hope? Does your mommy come over and yell at the bad man?

What would I actually lose? I already figured out what I wanted to know about you two and posted it. I should stick around and "learn" how to trade from the likes of you? Maybe I'll win the lotto too. The odds are I'd win the lotto before I got any value from your posts. So far I haven't learned anything except you like to whine a lot and here yourself talk.
 
Why do u care about spending so much time posting useless stuff in order to prove your point; is it worth it? it's so childish, I cant believe some of you have so many posts under their handles. Life is short and too valuable to waste it like this.
Get a grip on your self and change your attitude, u are not doing any favor to yourselves and to your careers by bitching back and forth like primary school children; begin to behave like adults, not like lost souls in a kindergarten.
No wonder u can't trade well: difficult to believe someone with such attitude can be successful.

I couldn't agree with you more but let me make a distinction.

There is a big difference between posting negative or slanderous comments on the offensive AND defending yourself against them.

ET is mostly FUN for me now because I don't take anything in here too seriously anymore and your right my trading has even slightly improved because I ignore 95% of the posts in here.
