Seanote,

I know you play a little golf, as do I. Can you believe how tough that Open tract is? I think a scratch golfer would be lucky to break 100 the way that monster is setup.

Thank AAA and Mike for the replies. That track is rediculous. Mickelson said yesterday that he thought +4 or 5 would win. If the weather gets worse he mention +9 or 10. Now I want to play that course if I'm ever up that way just as a measuring stick.

Yes... I closed at 35.73 and just re-opened a new short.

Keep up the excellent thread Seanote!

I am curious do you pare into your 3k positions? eg if you are going long you enter:

750s at 40.00

750 at 39.90

1500 at 39.50

or something similiar?
i think it's called reverse pyramiding ...

thanks.

Depends on the volume, spread size, and volatility. Some of my trades on CYMI had 8 partial fills on a 2K lot. It depends on who hits my order since I'll split the spread most of the time. If I feel a run is about to happen and the spread isn't too wide I'll go ahead buy at the ask or vice versa. On other stocks I'll sometimes use the reserve feature and post between 700-1000 at a time.

Thanks for the props MBG. I hope for continued success and feel very confident that I will. This is the first year I haven't had a lossing month by the summer since I revamped my trading 4 years ago so don't think every month is like the last few.
