You just need to follow the sp and nd futures.I mainly follow stocks like qcom,qlgc and klac.Sometimes i'll look at others.I only trade nasdaq.The fills are faster and the moves are greater when compared to NYSE stocks.I used to trade NYSE and didn't like it at all.I suggest you follow only 2 or 3 stocks at once.Anything more than that is,in my opinion,difficult.

This might be a stupid question but what is the significance of these stocks? In other words why do you pick them?

Since they move with the futures,i have something to gauge off of when making my buy and sell decisions.They're also very liquid and exhibit high volume.

good trading vinny....question for ya..I see you take profits at or around 20 pennies...where do you set your stop???.....u must be fast on that trigger...do u get shaken out alot??

In case you didn't notice,nasdaq stocks tend to trade toward size at the figure.So i look to short or go long in anticipation of the stock trading toward the figure,as long as the futures are moving the same way.But most importantly,look to buy strong stocks on rallies and short weak stocks on sell-offs.
