Trading ... it's not for wussies

Quote from kut2k2:

I was thinking of the guys who are constantly obsessing over drawdowns or trying to set the perfect stop to prevent any loss ever. Anybody that scared of ever losing a trade shouldn't be a trader.

There is no holy grail so everybody, including the success stories, will have losing trades. Suck it up and get over it, or go back to some day job and stop pretending to be a trader.

I have to agree. The evergreen advice is never to trade with scared money. But one could abbreviate that to never trade scared. But since most people have no idea what they're looking at, much less what to do with it, the fear permeates everything, and the trading itself isn't even secondary.

True Dat! I've been on Trading bulletin boards for over 20 years and my ignore list on ET is getting longer. There are so many guys on this board who waffle constant BS, post several times a day and have absolutely no clue - waaaay off the beaten track. They seem more intent on constantly barking their latest new fangled ideas gathered 5 minutes ago than putting in the hard yards.
My ignore list certainly saves me wasting a lot of time.
