Great topic. Having hobbies and family helps. I don't miss corporate life much, other than dating the occasional hot secretary![]()

You can kiss that goodbye.Only give him $200 after demo to play with and grow, so 1 bad NQ trade.
.
Yeah. Be thankful you aren't grinding away like others. Its not easy and electronic communication isn't a great way to interact with people.. perception and social media bs and all that. Make friends at restaurants , gas stations , wherever and then go back and be glad you don't have those jobsDo you want to make big money in your pajamas or do you want to work in a cubicle (after a stressful 90 minute commute) with 100 annoying co-workers for some greedy boss who will pay you just enough to get by and treat you like dirt?
Come on.
See your not arguing about the 100 annoying co workers LOL
90mins each way 1 hell of a commute but I'm sure some people not by choice had to do it, I've done it a few times but only for £50 per hour, can't imagine doing that on min wage.

You need a catHow do you deal with the isolation of trading by yourself? I’ve been trading futures solo for a few years, and it is starting to drive me crazy a bit. Chat rooms end up a bit useless if not talking about the same approach, forums seem stuck somewhere between active and dead and full of cynicism, and most people outside of the computer don’t understand what you do. The community feels fractured all over the place. In such a high-stress but often solo profession, how do you think this could be better?

I'll bet ya $200.
