MA based trend following does have potential, and I've developed a few systems. The original 40 bar breakout got faded hard once the world learned there were dozens of common folks picked at random, sometimes off the streets, who were taking their money this way. By the time Jack Swager's book was in print, it was all over.

Just imagine the young minds programming AI to recognize support and resistance levels and how price and order book reacts to them. You think it's hard to get filled now?

It depends how old you are. You don't have to become a landlord to allocate some money in real property. If you are in fact wealthy, just buy raw land. The right raw land of course. Will it produce NVDA-like returns? Lol...No. Unless you get lucky, or you were real smart when you bought it. But 30 years from now, you'll realize it was probably one of the best investments you ever made because it will still be there. That is ...... there's a lot of farmers that have become multi-millionaires overnight when the likes of KB Homes or D.R. Horton came a callin'.

Someone called in to Dave [+ REALTOR]Ramsey Radio and asked ''why do REITs tend to do so badly, when RE tends to do so well??''
Dave said mostly high fees.
So even if your raw land does not make the profit of a good rental or good farmland , most likely do better than REITs
A good Realtor is worth more than his or her weight in gold or yellow/ red brass.
