Trading is a BUSINESS!

My hobby does well, when I take it seriously I push too hard and take stupid trades, where as if I'm casually watching I'll take only the good setups, rather than must make millions in out in out in out all losers!
--------------------------------

that's a serious point! overtrading ruined me, too. on the other hand if I don't trade everyday, I see a lot of opportunities in hindsight that would have paid out very well, if I had only been in front of the computer that time. maybe take the middle way.

After the fact yes ofcourse, but live you get all of the losing trades you don't see cause its nit that easy live sadly.

hm, after some trading experience i went to a casino and won some pocket money. in a baccarat game, i bet 60 consecutive times on player and everytime i lost i martingale up. so i was correct in a 7 up baccarat game at that particular casino the player side did have a slight edge. the dealer and the other players was looking at me funny and some laughed cuz i never changed my bet just my size, but in the end i won. over 60 bets it was 55 percent player and 45 percent banker win rate surprisingly consistent with the statistic of the other table that i watched earlier. after i was up rather significantly they changed dealers, thats when i know the jig is up and decided to quit playing.

If it works that well, you should go play some more. The price of curve fitting will eventually catch up with you.

Also how can you be up significantly if the odds were reasonable even ? Martingale doesn't produce big winners, it merely increase the number of small wins. So I don't see how you managed to be up significantly.

Bet that catch onto Martingaling or any other strategy for that matter pretty quickly and put a stop to it.

They have huge expenses and have to make big money to pay for that, much like Banks.

They wont let him, thats the difference between gambling and trading.

My ex uses those online casinos, signs up, pay £20, they add £30, plays some stupid rigged games which let you win at first to get you hooked, runs the account till it starts losing, takes the profit :) opens account in BF or mates name, restarts her adsl modem for new IP makes £600 per month generally, pocket money.

I did try it once. I won yes. But I was so bored with it that eventually when I lost, I was very happy because I had nothing to continue with.

If there are really that much free money the casino's are handing out, I am surprised you waste your time gambling with the bucketshops here.

Thats why I won't do it, hate stupid games, she loves them so shes well happy.

No gambling required, gambling has no way to improve your odds, trading there are many way.

Obviously most traders are just gamblers, candlestick pattern believers or something equally as random.

Thats when trade series analysis come into play.
Calculate the worst possible scenario of consecutive banker wins percentage.

Make sure your bet always start small so that you have enough capital to martingale up
to twice the worst consecutive bankers win on previous history.

Martingale gives small wins regardless of the analysis. So, it remains a mystery how you won big enough for the casino to be worried. If I were running that casino, I'd invite you back as a VIP player and give you some free chips.
