trading in international market

In almost every country you can trade US stocks naturally (perhaps Iran and North Korea are the exceptions).

In both Iran and N. Korea you can trade the US only one way, a perennial short - symbol = USA

how? Do i need to open a brokerage account there in local company or can i keep using my account in usa?

Brokers are different as I hear some don't want to deal with international clients, I'm with IB and I haven't been in the US for over 10 years (nor am I a citizen).
Most first world countries also have local brokerages that allow you to trade US equities should you wish to do so.
