i don't run them against each other i take profits along the way if there is and if the market goes against me 3-4% thats a 2% of my portfolio which i can handle so there is some room to play with 3-4% correction no?Turning an outright flat price loser into a "hedged position" never works out from my experience. In fact, it usually makes things much worse - plus, you'll not only have to margin the original stinker, you'll have to margin the "hedge".
