Trading from Italy

I am looking for an online broker to trade the US market from Italy. I am mainly interested in using stocks and options. IB is good, but asks for a minimum 10000 USD deposit. Is there any other online brokwer you would recommend?

Check out DeGiro. I think they don't have minimum and are affordable in commissions.

Just look for the common discount brokers from the US. They probably all accept European customers these days.

TD Ameritrade. Also try IB again ..... maybe contact them about the minimum for a retail account. All they have on their site is:

• Trading Group Masters = min $10,000
• Broker Masters= min $10,000

I don't think retail account fits in the above categories. There was an ET thread about a month ago and it appears IB lowered the minimum. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/minimum-account-for-ib.321880/

Awesome trading platform for you, in my opinion would be Stock trading simulator by Trading game. For me it was great resource. It is in Italian so it would be easier for you to trade.
