Trading Forex

I have not been posting-no i have not blown one more account- but because it is not serving any purpose.ET has served me well and, at some time, i need and want to give something back to ET.

But, as Lord Buddha said, when someone asked him, to say in one sentence, something which would mean, both good and bad, he said "All things will end".

i have made my point: that a small guy can win big
padutrader,

I truly appreciate your efforts and showing us live trades for Free. It gives me confidence to proceed on my path.

Like you, I hope I can give back to ET one day with my own journal of live trades. It is a goal of mine just to let others know it is possible.

So much appreciate to you. Thank you,

Then forgedaboud Al Brooks. These are your words - "trading cannot be explained or taught".
Clean your brain out of trash and crap, what another trader espouses suits them best, not you.
Ok, you learnt a few things reading books, but your brain is your best tutor. Listen to your head, your internal supercomputer. You are far enough experienced now to work things out yourself, school days are over, you are now an artisan, suss it out, you can do it, throw away the crutches!
Seriously forget about all this Al Brooks shit, the guy is not thinking outside the square, that's your job now which you owe to yourself.
themickey,

Al Brooks was apart of padutrader journey. He helped in one way or the other.

can you tell me what i am supposed to forget...Brooks or the 9000 usd i made today including 5000 usd in one trade see charts and tell me what takes long time to sink in.
there are some people who trade ......while you are doing...well whatever you do...and you are right it does take long time for it to sink in...for some longer than othersView attachment 204342 View attachment 204343
And people in other threads talk about padutrader in such bad ways.

This is the reason I always defense this man. He makes money and shows it.

Good trade man!!

i learnt the basics from Al Brooks

And Brooks always emphasized the old wisdom: wedges, breakouts, break out pull backs, trend lines.
these are exactly what i use.

But he did not explain some of the the inner details.....which i have found by mistake...by
persistence

i do not know whether this was intentional or whether he just wanted to show what a genius he was...so that you would subscribe to his chat room

padutrader,

Yes, Brooks teaches the basics and just pure price actions and technical analysis.

The challenge I see is information over load. A new trader needs complete structure and confidence building.

For example, there are so many ways to trade a breakout. How to enter, where to exit. We all see the breakout.

When i first started trading. I was in a private room with a teacher only bought /ES, he would never sell. Took me 2 years to get out of the habit of only buying and not shorting.

Building the confidence while enduring loss of money, time, and energy and mental stress is the pain.

Do you have a problem with Al Brooks? I have a video course and he teach some good stuff.
Padu a while back posted that he at times doesn't mind criticism as it helps him think.
I'm actually rooting for Padu to win, but just recently baiting him in fun because am hoping my teasing will get him to think about things a different way.
Now this Al Brooks bloke, what I'm reminded about when Padu frequently refers to him is; a grown man talking about Jack and Jill and Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme books they read 20+ years ago.
He's now a grown man but still harping on about a guru book when in my opinion should be coming up with original equipment a grown man builds.
Anyway Padu tries but not hard enough imo.
The $9k he won recently, the track record is, what Al Brooks REALLY REALLY taught him was how to fleetingly hold it and then give it back plus some.
