Well, I just put a down-payment on a new Porsche Boxster. This wouldn't have been possible if I had still been with my previous job. If you have 1 year to burn, I'd say, give it your best shot and see where you go from there. Remember, everyone's different...your pyschological make-up will be a big factor.

This was covered in ET chat. The Boxster is a chick car. Other chick cars include- BMW M3, VW Cabrio and New Beetle, Miata.
