trading firms in NY

hi does anyone know of any good proprietary trading firms located in the NY area. I worked as a day trader for 6 months last year but that did not work out. I'd like to get back into now that i have a better understaing of the business. Most of the firms i've looked at seem pretty shady. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Search "prop firms" through Elite Trader's search function and you will get more results than you can shake a stick at...

Search for "prop" in subject lines first before searching for the term in entire posts. You will weed out results.
