Trading Eurex from Brazil

Nana, internet runs for about $40 USD with better options in big cities.

It does not matter if you have a 4mbps or a 10mbps as long as you have at least 1mpbs what will really become an issue is the ping time of the lines.

Quote from Nana Trader:

Waahh, I always thought brazil should have better internet being closer to America. What's fastest DSL speed you get in Brazil and cost/month?

For scalping, I think data feed provider causes more lag than what you internet speed is ....

Lets say:
-First person is using CQG with 4 mbps DSL
-Second person is using Esignal with 10 mbps DSL

My understanding is that first person should see Breakouts happening faster than second person

way to revive wonder...

thing is about eurex is that you can get about 200ms time rio to chicago but then it has to go another 140 ms to germany...

out of curiosity, can you find a way to ping something directly in germany and tell me what time that is?

Here are some pings from the remote lands of Brazil to German sites... I believe trading from Rio or Sao Paulo would cut about 10% from these ping times.
