I truly believe that there has never been successful traders posting on these journals who make a living trading...99% ego puffing BS...myself included...for now....today...realtime...exit signal showing....

The real McCoy has been gone for months, leaving the impersonators behind...........
Hi porgie,

Do you mean to say that your 'real McCoy' was an exception to your above statement?

What enables you to say this?

nononsense,

No offense intended, just a long day of ugly stuff...I don't know enough to make such statements except thru ignorance.

But, then again....Maybe things work very simple afterall.....up...down...sideways...if u can see the pretty and the ugly and they both are pretty when u quit blaming others and other things and crying over why u didn't make money and realize the excuse making is childish and the in the box approach might HOLD THE KEY ....afterall...AND MASSIVE WORK AND HOURS ARE AHEAD IF U SUCCEED..............it is simple if u can keep the picture simple..it is in your hands ZEb....the quicker the moves, and the more cluttered the screen, the more emotional turbulence u will feel and stress builds higher and higher..the shorter time frame ur charts, the more u will see THAT IS GREAT AND TURNS TO CRAP VERY SHORTLY...WHAT WAS THAT? WHERE DID THAT COME FROM? THAT USED TO WORK EVERTIME!!!..THEY STOPPED ME OUT EXACTLY AND THEN WENT IN MY DIRECTION , HOW DID THAT HAPPEN??? ...THEN U GET LEAD PAWS.......indicator lines work great, just not the ones that are ON UR CHART..When u think u have a good system, consider it about 25% worth a big cow pile.... I truly hope u find it...JUST WATCH THE COW STUFF...............don't ever test without realtime or with real money.......... FIND YOUR NICHE AND PURSUE IT FAITHFULLY.....MOSTLY BY YOURSELF...IF U HAVE AN IDEA @ 3:00 A.M. MORNING ...GET UP AND CHECK IT OUT...OR WRITE IT DOWN FOR EARLY AS POSSIBLE TEST NEXT MORNING, IF U CAN.....IF IT DOESN'T WORK FORGET IT OR YOUR HEAD AND NOTEBOOK WILL GET FULL OF CRAP THAT ONLY WILL HURT YOUR PROGRESS TO YOUR GOAL..............GOOD LUCK

Just show me the returns of some traders who've consistently done really well the last year trading futures.

I scalped 16250 USD in a falling market yesterday turning 670 ES contracts (most were long positions actually).

Quote from ZebProctor:

the eod data I download from CME sometimes has a price with a "B" or "A", referring to bid and ask... so what does that tell you, that the price of the sale was the current bid or ask price?
"B" and "A" in the T&S refer to a new bid or new ask (not an actual sale) that improves on the last sale. e.g. 646/648 is the bid/ask, a sale at 646, a new bid at 647 (making the market 647/648) will read 646, 647B, ... in the T&S. 1/ it gives a more representative view on the current market price (although at that time no sales took place at 647, hence the "B", 2/ signals an aggressive buyer (idem on the sell side) because of the improvement thing++
