Trading Dutch Markets

Urgh. I've been at it for 3 hours straight now and im SOOO BORED. This is not good because I know myself and I know that ill do stupid shit to get out of boredom.

Wrapping it up today with:

- GTN, long for 1.69, current quote 1.92, stoploss @ 1.89
- HGM, long for 2.34, got stopped out at 2.34
- MOO, doing what it needs to do (not much and the little friction there is seems to be upward)
- AGN, long for 11.28, current quote 11.30, stoploss @ 11.08

Tomorrow I will bring headphones so I can listen to some music in order not to get bored.

I know im probably the only one trading Dutch markets, tho I dont see what kind of impact that would have on a trading journal. I am not into FA that much so what I trade is basically the charts&quotes. In my view trading is trading no matter what I trade, I still deal with my transfer costs, slippage, and bad luck, just as people that trade the NYSE, DAX or import goats from thailand.

Im very busy getting deals on lower RT fees (which will save me about €20 per round-turn!!!!) and also on college (learning how to NOT pay taxes once the trading lifts off :))

No new positions,

AEL Straddles still neutral
MOO clashed down to 6,70 on the news that they WILL get sued as one of the big 5 specialist companies in the USA (fuckers with their sueing society). Still nothing to worry here, the premiums down to 1.70, and will flip the position from 200 long to 200 short @ 6.40

No mutations in the positions, MOO is walking back from a HUGE dip this morning (6.60) (currently @ 6.75), and is just above my 'flip-level'. Intrinsic value of the straddle is 1.75.

AEX is taking the road down south AWAY from the straddle which means more to the Volitality factor of my shorter straddle then that of the longer one, meaning this position is in RED now:

AEL C Dec 2003 34,00 @ 0.40
AEL C Jul 2003 34,00 @ 1.60
AEL P Dec 2003 34,00 @ 2.65
AEL P Jul 2003 34,00 @ 3.40

Underlying: 31.67

I wont mutate positions today (unless MOO goes through 6.40, at which point ill go from long to short 200 shares)

Im still here, riding out my MOO & AEL positions.

I stumbled across the problem that commisions on dutch stocks are WAAY to high to be profitable intraday, so I am starting to look into eurex futures trading .. Maybe I will keep trading the index straddles, but the stocks are out of the plan.
