Trading Dummies

Jeebus! Kevin, simmer down man!

What are you trying to pull?!! get everyone over here playing dummies?

shhhh!!

Let them spend the next 3 years hashing and re-hashing, indexing and mapping then re-indexing and re-mapping Jack Hershey's meandering nonsensical drivel.

:D

But seriously, if anyone is interested to learn more about MaoXian's non-dummy trades, you can look at these:

http://www.maoxian.com/trade.html

They are pretty old but they go over his main bread and butter play which is shorting. Apparently he loves to short. I think they are still useful to learn from. [sigh] I just wish VTSS would have 8 point intraday moves like that.

:bah: :)
This is clearly an environment where it is harder to make money than when CM was posting his series. I am not discrediting CM or anything, but I think TraderMike (TM) is a better resource for dummy trades now. I think it is easier to read his work considering the volatility is not good compared to the good old days [as you referenced in vtss].

just my .02

I just got long 2,000 PDLI as it broke the 4th bar on the chart (inside bar) (15 minute) Stop goes above the high of the inside bar. I will post a chart later.

If long why the stop at the high of inside bar?

If stop at low of inside bar, then how did you get stopped out?

I don't really understand what you are asking. btw, I am brainstorming trailing stop methods, as today I had many gains I gave back. Any thoughts?
