Trading deep deep OTM option big contract or mini SPX or SPY

I am looking to open with sell CALL Plus PUT OTM options to gain market neutral status.

Should I prefer the big or mini SPX contract in terms of a low spread? Holding period will be around 3-4 months.

This is a special situation and not a trading approach.

your firm told you to trade OTM options instead of ITM options for your client?

Did you get index option prices in your interactive brokers account set up yet?

If by mini SPX you mean XSP, bid/ask spread are huge on some XSP strikes, even if slightly otm.

My bad, sorry I wanted to type in ITM options. Thanks for pointing it out!
