Trading day

to make 1% a day on my daily account balance. Everyone needs a monetary goal when trading or you will flutter around in lala land being greedy and unbalanced
 
I disagree. Trading without goals allows you to trade without forcing trades. There is no goal, so why force a trade to make your 1% a day even if you know the trade is high risk? I have found that I'm much more profitable with this approach. I never trade to meet a certain expectation of the day, week, month or what have you.
 
I live my life that way too. I have no goals whatsoever and it's liberating. I have such a stress free existence. Stress, who needs it? I guess the extent of my stress is getting up @ 7:00 a.m. to prepare for my trading day.
