Trading community in Ibiza Spain

Hi fellow traders. Im currently trading from Ibiza where some parts of the island now is connected to fiber(since feb) - The island has alot to offer when it comes to high end party/dining etc. but also beautiful nature and secluded beaches.. Im thinking about expanding the office into a trading room.. Would anyone be interested trading from Ibiza, part time or full time year?

Hi Fabulavie, there isn't a year that passes that I haven't asked myself which island in the med could I base myself to trade / invest my own money. I have been working at global investment banks since the late 90s, trading all manner of eq derivs. I am out in Ibiza again in July, I'd be very keen to have a chat about opening a professional arcade for semi-retired traders on Ibiza, I am surprised it has not been done before, are there local regulatory issues?
 
Hello again and sorry for late reply.. As far as I know there are not any regulatory issues, Ive just been connected to internet and business as usual(it could be an idea to check with a tax expert on the issue) and I have only met one person investing that has lived there for some years (he uses satelite) I really think its because the fiber internet that just recently in februar was connected to a small part of the Island(Ibiza city) , I would love to meet up but Im going for Norway in July , but I could give you someone to talk to when it comes to office spaces / internet etc. and we could stay in touch. Any other traders based in Ibiza, I'd like to hear from you as I am looking to set-up a prop office on the island, personal experiences are invaluable before I make the investment and help map out the necessary steps, can meet in July? I am interested to hear about regulatory approval process and legal structures used by prop shops in Spain

Gumball looks kinda fun but not my scene, I'd have to put racing stickers all over my Aston - ouch, no way! I see Marketsurfer that you are based in palm beach already, seems pretty sweet deal. I am very serious about the prop set-up so PM me if want to discuss further?
