You were caught and it is pointless to continue to focus on lost face and rather more important to try to look forward and to be honest when making subsequent entries. Unless your are somehow damaged or ill you have the capacity to alter your course and begin to honestly document your trades.

If you were to continue as you were you might be permanently relegated to a role here that I'm sure you don't want. Do the right thing going forward and you might be ok.

I suppose then that nobody will take his journal seriously.

Something is missing from his psyche, like when you rebuild a carburetor and have a part or two left over. It just isn't going to work properly and will probably leak fuel onto the hot exhaust manifold eventually. :)
